Adventure Elopements & Intimate Wedding Storytelling

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Wedding | Cedar Lane Weddings

Tie the knot at Top of the World at the beautiful Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

Having a wedding at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is perhaps one of the most beautiful options for a venue in my opinion. I was lucky enough to spend Canada Day out in Golden BC with Becky and Dave where they shared their wedding vows on the terrace of the Eagles Eye with their closest friends and family.

After getting ready at their family property down the ski hill and a quick first look on the balcony, we took off for portraits around Golden BC, and then hopped onto the gondola to the top of the mountain for more portraits! The stunning ceremony lead into a fantastic reception that the staff at Eagles Eye catered (highly recommend the steak!!) At the end, a lavender sunset was beckoning us outside to soak in all that Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has to offer and so we moved the first dance outside onto the balcony and into the gorgeous night full of love and pure happiness.

Thank you for visiting my Blog, I am Melissa – the girl behind Cedar Lane Weddings! Are you planning your elopement and looking for someone to help guide you through process?

There’s nothing I love more than helping couples create an authentic intimate wedding day of your dreams, where you conquer an amazing adventure together, and have the privacy & safety to truly be yourselves. Elopements bring the focus of a wedding day back to you two as a couple, and don’t have the “performance” or “production” vibe of a normal, traditional wedding day. You can design the best day for the two of you, from start to finish, and at some point in your grand adventure, be in a gorgeous & unique location and commit your lives to each other.

If you enjoyed this beautiful Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Wedding, please make sure to read my recent Takakkaw Falls Elopement or Moraine Lake Adventurous Anniversary session and Adventure Elopement at Peyto Lake, both featured by the magazine Rocky Mountain Brides!!
