What are Full Day Elopements and why would I want one?
You deserve to have beautiful images that showcase the entire incredible story of your elopement day, ones that you’ll hold onto for the rest of your life. So no matter what your dream adventure elopement wedding looks like – whether it’s a trip overseas to a tropical island, a helicopter flight over a glacier, hiking up a mountain at sunrise with your doggos, or maybe driving down the coast and dipping your toes in the ocean – you know you can count on me to be there and encourage you along the way. From the very first planning and logistics phases, all the way to getting out there and exploring this gorgeous world with you on one of the best days of your life!
How much time do we need for our elopement?
On average, my couples book 8+ hours, but how much time you need depends on so many different things! For instance:
- What do you want to remember most from the day?
- Do you two love doing any specific hobbies together?
- How can we create the best day ever, that feels exactly like you?
Planning your dream adventure elopement can feel overwhelming when literally anything is possible. But don’t worry, I have an in-depth questionnaire I send to all my clients to help us work together to find the perfect timeline and location unique to you.
How many images will we get?
Typically 1 hour of professional wedding coverage = 50 professional images. I’m known for going the extra mile to be generous with my couples, so you can expect to receive an abundance of beautiful images representing full coverage of your special day! It’s hard to quote an exact number as each wedding is so different, but I like to over-deliver on my promises. I value you and everything you’ve chosen to do on your wedding day, and I want you to have these images and moments to share with your family and friends for generations to come.
When will we receive the images from our elopement?
My promise is 12 weeks for all elopements & intimate weddings. I pour my heart and soul into my work and perfect every single image that ends up in your gallery so I can be proud of each one. I want you to be able to share these memories for years to come and smile every time you go through them together! That said, I tend to over-deliver on promises, so you might even receive your gallery sooner than later.
How do we receive our photos? Are there any extra fees associated with the images themselves?
I send my clients their images in an online professional gallery. You can share the link with your loved ones, create private galleries of your favourites, and download the whole gallery to your computer. Also included in your packages are full printing rights of the images for your own personal use. As an optional extra, if you’re interested in an heirloom album or archival quality prints to last a lifetime, let me know! I’m proud to offer custom printing services to my clients as well.
Are you an inclusive vendor? Do you take on LGBTQ+ couples and weddings?
Heck yes! Inclusivity and social justice matter deeply to me. I am a safe space for everyone — this extends to my personal life as well, where I stand up and advocate for universal human rights. I believe that love is love, I believe in body positivity, and I’m not here to pass judgement on anyone. I just want to help celebrate your love and welcome everyone with a big hug from my heart! I’m your choice if you’re a couple who shares these values.
We’re thinking of inviting a few guests, is that okay?
Absolutely! I would never dream of telling my clients that they can’t bring family or friends. It’s YOUR wedding day after all! That said, it’s really important to me to work with clients who value epic intimate portraits, so I don’t take on couples with over 30 guests attending their day.
As we build your timeline together, we’ll customize your day. This means that if you do have friends or family joining for your ceremony, we can create an experience that involves everyone and also allows us to slip away on our own for your couples portraits. Ask me about my sample timelines to see more ideas on how this could work!
