2019 was my 2nd time to Iceland, and Kristin and Michael’s first! Michael & Kristin are such adventure seekers and they will always find a way to smile, have fun and make the best of any experience! I was fortunate to meet Kristin in Ireland in 2017; we have since travelled to 4 USA States, Mexico & Iceland together. Icelandic Honeymoon Road Trip Adventure

This trip to Iceland was in February, and for these two Californian souls it was a huge change! The first day was off to a rough start due to a blizzard that made our driving plans completely impossible. But really, you can’t expect much else for winter in Iceland and you have to be flexible when traveling, no matter where you are! So we headed back to town, grabbed a big bowl of stew and coffee and waited out the storm, while rearranging our schedule. We were still able to explore all over the west and southern coastline over our 8-day adventure.

Iceland in the winter was an experience in unpredictable weather; sunrises and sunsets; northern lights; the Atlantic Ocean; old plane crashes; waterfalls; Icelandic horses; sea caves; glacier lagoons; hot springs, AND SO MUCH MORE. Iceland truly is a magical place, and if you ever have the chance to visit, I would highly recommend it!
