Sunrise Costa Rica Elopement | Cedar Lane Weddings
Kristi & Matt are two of the most generous, loving and kind people I have had the pleasure of working with over the years!
Let’s back up one second though to my very first trip to Costa Rica, back in 2011 when I spontaneously packed up after University finals and skipped a snowy Christmas at home to explore this lush country. I fell in love with it and have been so fortunate to go back 4 times since, exploring everything from the Pacific Beaches to the Monteverde Cloud Forest and back.
Kristi & I spoke for their free Banff Elopement Consultation Call and we just HIT – IT – OFF. We spent over an hour just chatting about life, travel and everything that lights us on fire. It came up that in 7 weeks they were heading to Costa Rica for a vacation and I jokingly suggested we go there for their elopement instead of Banff – and Kristi said “heck, let’s do both!” and guess what guys?
WE DID JUST THAT.
Words of gratitude cannot really express what the week was like spending it with Kristi & Matt for their Sunrise Costa Rica elopement.
This is Part One of their two country, multi-day elopement and it is full of waterfalls, volcano’s (which, PS it is super rare for the La Fortuna volcano to be visible through the clouds!), hot springs, bats, sloths, so many lizards and insects – and of course the most amazing clients, K & M ♡. We road-tripped around this outstanding country together and came across some epic off-the-beaten-trail locations, which has made for perfect sunrise photos, even with a 4am wakeup call to make it a reality!
Take a peek through some of my favourites from this Sunrise Costa Rica Elopement here below, and if you are looking for ideas for your own Costa Rica elopement, send me a message! I would love to plan another Costa Rica Adventure!
